If you are artistic and creative and want to try your hand at making your own wings, you can go to the craft store and get some supplies to make your own pair of angel wings. For the easiest to make you would need a pencil, corrugated cardboard, gold spray paint, utility knife, white sheet or fabric 2yds by 1yd, gold cord, gold ribbon, garland and or glitter. Pencil the shape of the wings on the cardboard, cut out, stretch material over cardboard and attach, then decorate them to look like you want them to.
For a more involved pair of wings you will need some wire clippers/pliers, 1 pair of queen sized pantyhose, 14-16 gauge steel wire, safety pins, needle and thread, scissors, glitter, feathers or what ever else you would like to use to decorate with and markers. Take the wire and shape it into two individual circles then attach them together side by side using your duct tape. Then cut the legs out of the hose and stretch over circles, one leg per circle then shape your wings into the shape you want. After your pantyhose are adjusted hold together at the base with a safety pin until you have them sewn together. Cut off any extra hose and decorate the wings to have the look that you wish to have with your particular costume.
